Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Dexter web companion at usedexter.app (the “Service”), operated by Dexter. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Dexter is a web companion that lets you sign in and view the trading-card collection you’ve synced from the Dexter mobile app. The web companion is read-only; your collection is created and managed in the mobile app.

Your Account

You sign in using the same account as the Dexter mobile app. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• access the Service, or another user’s data, without authorization;
• interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security of the Service;
• scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service or its APIs;
• use the Service unlawfully or to infringe the rights of others.

Card Data & Trademarks

Trading-card names, images, sets, and related content are the property of their respective rights holders — for example, Magic: The Gathering (Wizards of the Coast), Pokémon (The Pokémon Company / Nintendo), Disney Lorcana (Disney / Ravensburger), and Star Wars Unlimited (Lucasfilm / Fantasy Flight Games). Dexter is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by any of these companies. Pricing information is provided for general informational purposes only, may be inaccurate or out of date, and is not an offer, valuation, or financial advice.

Intellectual Property

The Service itself, excluding third-party card content, is owned by Dexter and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that card data or prices will be accurate or current.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dexter will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
